Following a recent webinar with our sister company FusionHR and The Stress Specialist Nicky Lloyd Greame, we thought it would be useful to provide you with some questions that you could use in your wellbeing reviews or catch-ups with employees. Below are suggestions of questions from you can utilise, it is not an exhaustive list, each case should be treated individually but these questions may help as a starting point.

- Overall, how satisfied are you with workload at the moment?
- On a scale of 1 to 5 – how do you feel at the moment? (1=terrible, 5=fantastic)
- On a scale of 1 to 5 – how happy do you feel? (1= not at all, 5 = very)
- Is there anything you would you like to happen/change at the moment?
- How are you feeling about work/life balance at the moment?
- Do you feel there is anything that can be done to improve things at the moment?
- Is there anything you need more of?
- Is there anything you need less of?
- Do you have anything else you would like to share?
- Is there anything you feel you need help or support with?
- Do you have any ideas you’d like to share to help with our wellbeing strategy?

SAM can help track wellbeing by monitoring absence trends, identifying issues before they reoccur, in particular areas or patterns in absence for a particular employee that can then be addressed. You can add Fit Notes, Occupational Health Reports and Return to Work documents within SAM, all helping you to hold regular meetings and increase contact by providing you with the information you need to make decisions. SAM supports you in applying a fair process for all employees and can ultimately help you to reduce absence and improve wellbeing by supporting staff when they need it most. If you don’t currently use SAM, get in touch with one of the team on 01924 907319 to book a demo, or follow this link.
